Thinking about God’s faithfulness today. I have had a song called “the blessing” on repeat since it was first released. I am sure by now most of you have heard it too, but if not go listen to it right away and I hope it blesses you just like it has blessed me.
This song is just so powerful and it speaks volumes of God’s faithfulness, but here is the cool part… this song doesn’t just stop at telling us about His faithfulness to us, but also the faithfulness that will carry on to our children and our children’s children. Like this is amazing news for us!! To know His faithfulness passes to generation to generation is refreshing and satisfying to the soul.
It gives me peace to know that my children will experience that same faithfulness in their lives one day as I have experienced in mine. It gives me joy that they too will have His blessing upon their lives and that they will know they are truly loved by a good good Father.
To anyone who is having a hard time feeling God’s faithfulness today I challenge you to listen to some worship music, pray and talk to Jesus, and read the Bible and let it renew your mind and remind you that He is faithful til the end of time.
“He is the faithful God who keeps His covenant for a thousand generations.” Deuteronomy 7:9
